These words describe Ole Moon, St. Paul’s Retreat Center. Located in the wooded countryside, an hour and a half north of Houston near Magnolia, Ole Moon is an ideal place to get away from it all.
Ole Moon has a lodge and three sleeping cabins with beds for twenty-four. Cooking facilities, indoor plumbing, showers, and air conditioning make your stay comfortable and convenient amid your rustic surroundings. Spacious grassy areas are perfect for activities such as softball, horseshoes or volleyball. There is also a prayer trail and the caretakers will be glad to advise you on the construction of a campfire to gather around.
The Ole Moon Retreat Center shall be used for the following purposes…
For meetings, picnics and/or camping trips for children, youth or adult groups, for bible study retreats for children, youth or adult groups,
and for planning sessions for children, youth or adult groups; all of the foregoing to be in relation to church sponsored activities, such activities to be deemed by St. Paul’s Church to be in furtherance of Christian Education, Christian Growth, Christian Fellowship, the development of an individual’s Christian Faith, the deepening of an individual’s understanding of theology, the experience of Christian Fellowship and Community, the renewal of an individual’s spiritual life, the enjoyment of God’s natural order of creation and relation to the Christian Faith or the planning for the work of the church.
