A lifelong United Methodist, Jennifer not only knows the polity of the United Methodist Church inside and out, she is amazingly organized, actually understands IT, and is wise beyond her years.
Jennifer worked her way through college at the office of the Texas Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church, ultimately earning an Associate of Science from Lon Morris College and a B.S. in biology from UH Clear Lake. She taught elementary school in her home district of Galena Park until called back to work for the United Methodist Church, this time at St. Paul’s.
Through her organizational skills, she streamlined many processes while assistant to the then- business administrator, Rev. Charles Ruehl, and two different directors of the St. Paul’s Methodist Foundation of Houston, Susie Ragsdale and Rev. Shelli Williams. Also while still in that position she provided valuable insights into the “back side” of this Web site while it was in development
Upon Rev. Ruehl’s transfer to another church, Jennifer was his logical successor. And upon the launching of this Website, Jennifer was the logical person to be named Webmaster. In the summer of 2008, Jennifer began the process of becoming a Certified Church Business Administrator, now lacking only completion of her final project.
