Willing Friends Society

The St. Paul's Foundation has a wonderful group of friends who have chosen to include the St. Paul's Methodist Foundation or St. Paul's United Methodist Church in their estate plans. Our current "Willing Friends" have done this in a variety of forms, including wills, trusts, gift annuities, retirement accounts, life insurance benefits, and property. There are currently more than 90 Willing Friends who have let us know that they have included the Foundation or St. Paul's in their will or estate.  Once each year, these friends are honored at our annual Willing Friends Luncheon. This year's luncheon is scheduled for Tuesday, November 3, 2009, 12:00 noon, in Fondren Hall.

As the Foundation nears its 50th Anniversary Celebration, now would be a wonderful time for you, too, to become a Willing Friend.Over the next few months, we will be holding small dinners where you can find out more about being a Willing Friend. Our next Willing Friends Information Dinner is scheduled for Wednesday, January 27, 2010, 6:00 p.m. in the Parlor of the Sanctuary Building.

If you would like to attend one of these dinners, become part of the Willing Friends Society, desire more information as to ways you can do this, or if you have already remembered the Foundation or St. Paul's in your will or estate, please contact Rev. Shelli Williams via e-mail or by telephoning the church office.

For more detailed information as to ways that you can include St. Paul's Methodist Foundation or St. Paul's United Methodist Church in your planned giving, see our "Become a Willing Friend" page.
