WELCOME TO ST. PAUL'S UMC YOUTH MINISTRY
St. Paul's Youth Ministry is dedicated to providing a safe and exciting enviroment for Youth (6th through 12th graders) to deepen their relationship with God, friends, family, and themselves.
Most Youth events and activities meet in the Tubbs Youth Center on the first floor of the Sanctuary Building.
UMY
UMY (United Methodist Youth) is our weekly Sunday evening time together for all 7th - 12th graders. It is a great opportunity to have fun, meet new friends, find out more about how God and faith relate to your life, and get involved with other students just like you!
UMY features recreation time for all 7th - 12th grade youth that includes fun group games, funny skits, Gaga ball, and much more! We close each night with some worship time in the Chapel that includes worship songs, prayer, and a talk given by one of our youth. We also provide a tasty dinner each Sunday night that is prepared by our wonderful parent volunteers. We hope you join us on Sunday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. See you Sunday!
Confirmation
This class for 6th graders begins each September and ends with students being confirmed as full members of the church in April. Youth focus their study on Christianity and what it means to be a United Methodist. The class meets Sundays from 5 to 7 p.m. Throughout the year, confirmands have the opportunity to visit different places of worship as well as participate in retreats, overnight trips, and other activities with the youth group.
Sunday School
Sunday School begins at 9:30 with refreshments and recreation time.
Junior and Senior High have separate classes which meet from 9:45-10:45am.
Sunday School meets every Sunday, including summers.
Girls Group is the official girls ministry for the female youth of St. Paul's UMC. We plan many events throughout the year specifically for the girls to grow in their understanding of God and who they are as women of God. Contact Jennifer West with any questions.
