Welcome to St. Paul's United Methodist Church - Houston, Texas

St. Paul's Chamber Music Society

St. Paul’s Chamber Music Society has been independently underwriting the cost of instrumental musicians for concerts and special worship services since its establishment in 1982. The generosity of society members enables St. Paul's United Methodist Church to reach out to the entire Houston community through free musical events.

The exceptional concerts, recitals and special events of the past two and a half decades have produced extraordinary results and have been at the forefront of distinguished music in our community. These performances have been presented with the care and genius of not only our resident musicians and conductors but with the aid and inspiration of such notables as Stephen Cleobury, John Scott, Gerre Hancock and James O’Donnell.

The St. Paul’s Chamber Music Society hopes to continue bringing quality music to our city by offering first-class musical events without the need to charge admission. As a non-profit organization separate from the church, the Society thrives solely on donations and gifts which allow us to continue the St. Paul’s musical heritage. If you would like to make a tax-deductible donation or if you would like to receive notices about upcoming performances, please contact Dawn Uebelhart at the church or fill out the online form and you will be contacted.  Thank you.
